Amidst an increasingly biased flow of information and ongoing challenges to press freedom, we believe that responsible journalism must stand on the side of truth—especially for those whose voices are often ignored, marginalized, or sacrificed by the system.
We exist not simply to deliver news, but also to fight for the values of democracy, justice, and transparency.
We believe that the voices of the Riau Islands—from the islands, small towns, and corners rarely reached by mainstream media—deserve to be heard, recorded, and championed.
This commitment is not without risk. But for us, it is the price of upholding the dignity of journalism. We will continue to stand, write, and speak out—as long as the public still needs a space to speak.
